  Team Michigan
Hi All! A new feature has been added to the blog for this trip! Over in the side bar to the right is a link to a message forum for us to use to communicate with family and friends. Check it out and see how it works!

  A New Mission
Rosedale Gardens Church has again committed itself to be a part of a fall Hurricane Relief effort. At present, our assignment with PDA will take us again to the Gulfport and Biloxi areas of Mississippi. There is still much reconstruction work to be done in that area, even over a year after Hurricane Katrina devasted that part of the Gulf Coast.
The last time we were in this area, it was to tear out and deconstruct several homes to prepare them for rebuilding- it was a dirty, nasty and sad undertaking, and yet so rewarding for the people who were along on that trip. Many of those same people will be returning- this time to help re-build homes. Joining them, will be some of the crew from the Houma LA trip and a few new friends who will be making their first Mission trip. I will not be among them this time, and will remain behind to maintain this blog, and start a compilation of photos chronically their experience.
I will be trying a few new things to aid in communicating with our loved ones on the trip, including having a separate message board for Team Michigan member's messages. The tag board will stay up for general cheering on as well. With that said- lets get this show on the road!
